CAMPER AGES: 6-12/13-21
TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Day Camp.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: "The A.Z.T.E.C.S. Way". The Residential and Commuter camps are designed to indoctrinate each camper with the training and philosophies of the Aztec Soccer program. Sessions are taken directly from Aztec practice regimens incorporating technical and tactical, competitive exercises to fully develop each player’s potential. The primary goal of our Youth Camp is to increase the camper’s love for soccer while increasing the individual’s skill and knowledge of the game. This will be accomplished using fun exercises that are both challenging and competitive.

CAMP FACILITIES: San Diego State University is the oldest and largest higher education institution in the San Diego region. Since it was founded in 1897, the university has grown to become a nationally ranked research university. Campers stay in the dorms on campus, 2 per room, and train on the SDSU soccer turf playing fields.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SDSU Men's Head Coach Entering his 16th season at the helm of the SDSU men's soccer program, Camp Director Lev Kirshner has brought the Aztecs back into the national spotlight while leading the program into its 11th season as a member of the Pac-12 Conference.
Highlights Include
All camps are staffed with college coaches and current collegiate players
Written evaluation for each camper (except ID camp)
Soccer camp T-shirt to each camper
Players are grouped by age AND ability to enhance overall camp experience
Academy curriculum specifically designed with fun, competitive, and developmental soccer activities for youth ages 6-12
Academy curriculum specifically designed with college training methods for HS ages and older
11 v 11 competition coached and observed by college coaches for HS ages and older
