BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Eagle Island Camp is located on an Adirondack Great Camp on an island in Upper Saranac Lake. Here campers can swim, sail, participate in nature programming, craft, and experience the island through unstructured camper-led play.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Swimming, Sailing, Wilderness/Nature, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Eagle Island is located on Upper Saranac Lake in the northern Adirondack park of New York State. Our island is about 30 acres with a mile in circumference and includes a National Historic Landmark as well as forests and trails along the water.
CAMP FACILITIES: Eagle Island Camp consists of historic great camp buildings, cabins and platform tents. Campers stay in either the historic guest house on bunk beds, in one of our rustic cabins, or in a platform tent.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: In everything we do, we believe in inspiring and empowering young people to be confident, collaborative, and courageous. We offer a variety of programs run by trained staff. CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Financial assistance is available for youth camp programs. We believe that every child should be able to experience camp. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Families will be able to explore Eagle Island through nature, crafting, sailing, swimming, Adirondack trips, and more. Families will stay in one of our historic great camp buildings, rustic cabins, or platform tents.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
All-Gender Day Camp for youth entering grades 3-6, $375/week. -Two sessions, June 29-July 3 and July 6-July 10
Girls' Overnight Camp for youth entering grades 5-8, $850/week,
-Two sessions, July 12-July 17 and July 19-July 24
Family Camp, $750/week
-Two session, July 26-August 1 and August 2-August 8
